Vol. 01 · Summer 2026 Honolulu Harbor → the whole pae ʻāina

MahaloMade · HI · StateProud Network — 8 islands · one roster

Coffee, salt,
honey, koa.
Filtered by the hands we're grateful to name.

The in-island maker roster for Hawaiʻi — Kona coffee lānai to Kīhei salt pans, Hanalei apiaries to a Hāna wood shop. We visit every studio in person, name where the ingredient is grown, and say mahalo before we ever say sell.

01 · The kuleana

Mahalo is the vetting step, not the slogan.

Eight islands. Every studio visited in person. Provenance named plainly — the farm, the reef, the slope — and a warm intro to the wider Alliance network when a maker is ready to scale past the farm stand.

01

Visited, with gratitude

Every studio on the roster has been visited in person by a MahaloMade editor — a Kona coffee lānai, a Kīhei salt house, a Hāna wood shop. We give thanks first, and we list second. Mahalo isn't a slogan here; it's the vetting step.

02

Eight islands, one roster

From Hawaiʻi Island to Kauaʻi, Honolulu to Hāna, Molokaʻi to Lānaʻi. We cover the whole pae ʻāina — the island chain — not just the easy stops on the tour bus.

03

Provenance, named plainly

Where each ingredient is actually grown — the ahupuaʻa, the farm, the reef. Hōlualoa coffee cherry, Mākena tide salt, Molokaʻi pineapple. Named, not implied — and the parts that aren't grown here are named too.

04

A warm intro past the farm stand

Ready to scale beyond the swap meet and the hotel sundry shop? We route makers to the right Alliance arm — commercial kitchen, pilot plant, co-packer — through the Contract Manufacturing Alliance, with an office right here in Honolulu.

02 · On the roster

Six studios. From Hōlualoa to Hāna.

A working cross-section of the current roster — a single-farm Kona roaster, a Maui tide-salt house, a Kauaʻi mac-and-honey stand, a Kaimukī shoyu kitchen, a Molokaʻi pineapple put-up, and a Hāna lauhala-and-koa shop.

03 · The pae ʻāina

From Niʻihau
to Hawaiʻi Island.

Eight main islands, each with its own crops, its own weather, its own way of doing things. Every maker is rooted on one of them — and we keep the island named so you can find the studio down the road from you.
